Bewildered Laptop
Pocket Universes from the Artistic Addlepated Almost Astronaut
I was always a tinkerer. Mostly with the arts (I studied classical guitar in school) but other random things too. Computers came at the right time, as well as open source and freeware downloads. Blissful hours were spent cavorting among the virtual meadows of cyberland fueling my ADHD dopamine hyperdrive. That's right, I’m a part of the neurodivergent family. Which explains a lot, and is a big tremendous relief. I was diagnosed on Thanksgiving of ‘22, so when I was 43.
Technology is so freaking fast and intuitive. It's so easy to create now, so, when someone gets that random flash of superior inspiration? We can pull on all the little computer-ey things that we’ve been messing around with for the past few weeks, and boom. We can do THE THING fast. Wow, that feels good!
I've been discovering more and more about the odd inclinations I've been masking and suppressing since my diagnosis and treatment of my ADHD. It has been a rocky road, and left me and my family feeling raw on more than one occasion, not going to fib.
We keep on keeping on, that is how I'm going to wrap this up. Thanks for reading, feel free to look at the quirky oddities over the years.
